Chapparal Road project:

There is an additional public comment period based on regulatory requests for the Chapparal Road project for the alignment for the project.

In April 2023, City of Killeen held a public meeting asking the community for feedback on the best alignment for the road. The attached schematic-level design identifies the portion of roadway in the City of Harker Heights. For the full schematic design visit: https://www.killeentexas.gov/301/Engineering

Once feedback has been given, those comments will determine which changes can be made to best meet the needs of the public.

Written comments regarding the proposed project are requested and may be submitted by email to Donald Wetzel with the City of Killeen ([email protected]) or to Kristina Ramirez with the City of Harker Heights ([email protected]) or Bryan Neaves with Bell County ([email protected])

The feedback will be accepted until Feb. 14, 2025.
