Dear John,
Time is running out to get rooftop solar through parliament – we need your
support to make this a reality.
This Friday, MPs can vote on the Sunshine Bill
[[link removed]] to require new homes to be fitted with solar panels. Solar energy has the power
to cut sky-high bills and tackle the cost-of-living crisis, while taking urgent
action on the climate emergency – a win for people, nature and the countryside.
We urgently need your help to make sure enough MPs show up to parliament on 17
January to vote in favour of rooftop solar. Your MP still hasn’t heard from you.
Send a message to your MP now
[[link removed]]Rooftop solar is an untapped opportunity which can deliver clean energy while
easing the pressure on our countryside. The Sunshine Bill would set the UK on
the critical path to achieving the government’s target of at least 95% clean
power by 2030.
Help us to ensure enough MPs know about the Sunshine Bill and turn up to
parliament on 17 January. This is a critical time for rooftop solar and your
voice counts – taking action now will let your MP know that this is important to
their constituents and will encourage them to show up for the debate and vote in
favour of rooftop solar.
Will you email your MP and urge them to support the Sunshine Bill
[[link removed]] ?
Take action today

Lola
