Friend, did you see the email I sent last week?

Now that the new year is in full swing, we’re up against the clock to make sure animals are a top priority for our newly elected lawmakers. All the while, rabbits are suffering from painful cosmetics testing. Thousands of dogs are locked away in puppy mills, forced to reproduce over and over until their bodies fail or profit-driven operators kill them. There are animals suffering in roadside zoos. And so many other instances of senseless abuse, heartless neglect and cruel deaths.

We must advocate for our agenda to save these animals right here, right now. That’s why I’m following up to ask again: Will you please renew your Humane Society Legislative Fund membership for 2025 with a donation of $20 or more by midnight on January 31? ([link removed])

Renew Now ([link removed])

Friend, when it comes to our lifesaving work for animals in 2025, we don’t have a single second to waste—but I noticed you haven't renewed your membership yet to fuel this work forward in the coming months. Can we count on you to renew your Humane Society Legislative Fund membership in 2025? ([link removed])
Renew Now ([link removed])

From the White House to Congress to statehouses across the country, our newly elected leaders are gearing up to start their work, and we need your immediate renewed support to ensure animals are part of their policy agenda. There is no shortage of competing priorities for lawmakers in their first 100 days in office, which is why we must get in front of them NOW to advocate for animals—but we can’t do that without your help.

It’s time to reaffirm your commitment to this fight by renewing your 2025 membership before midnight on January 31. ([link removed])

With your gift, we’ll be able to continue fighting to:
* Protect dogs from puppy mills
* Protect states’ rights to regulate animal products
* End unnecessary animal testing
* Strengthen enforcement of the Animal Welfare Act
* Protect imperiled native species, like grizzly bears and gray wolves

We have many humane allies in Congress who will stand with us on these issues, but we are always up against well-funded politicians who have the backing of special interests that represent exploitative industries like industrial farming and trophy hunters.

So please, renew your 2025 membership to help the Humane Society Legislative Fund defeat threats to animals and push animal protection legislation over the finish line. ([link removed])
