Under Democratic leadership, Michigan’s economy is growing faster than anyone expected.

Friend, this isn’t a measure of “gross-domestic-product-this” and “investment-trend-that.” This booming economic growth means a balanced budget that feeds 1.4 million public school students two meals a day, expands health care, invests in our infrastructure, and brings billions of dollars into our state.

Democrats worked hard over the last two years to make this happen — we cannot let the MI GOP tear down the work Democrats did to build a better and brighter future for all Michiganders.

It’s up to us to stand up against the MI GOP when they try to attack the progress Democrats have made over the last two years. Our work to organize across the state has already started so that come 2026, our party has a strong foundation to keep a Democrat in the Governor’s office and take back control of the state legislature.

We have a long road ahead of us, but I know that when we come together, we can win. We need to prepare now so we can fight back and stop the MI GOP from undoing the incredible progress Democrats made in Michigan.
