Hi John!

I’m Sylvia, the Coalition Coordinator for the Yes on National Popular Vote campaign.

I’m reaching out because we have a big fundraising deadline coming up next week and we could use your support. But first, I want to explain why we’re fighting to make every vote for president count.

Did you know that 5 out of our 45 presidents won the presidency even though they lost the popular vote? Most recently, Donald Trump won the Electoral College and lost the popular vote by nearly 3 million votes. And that’s not even the first time that has happened in this century!

This is very unhealthy for our democracy -- it ignores the will of the people and causes folks to lose faith in our democratic systems.

Under a National Popular Vote, every vote for president would count equally -- no matter where you live or who you vote for, and the candidate with the most votes would win -- every time.

That’s why we’re fighting to pass the National Popular Vote in Colorado this November -- but it’s going to take a lot of grassroots power to get it done, and we can’t do it without you.

If you agree that it’s time to put power back in the hands of the people, chip in now to support our movement to make the National Popular Vote a reality.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
