Allegheny County's aging population brings a growing need for dementia care. Research has shown that women, individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds and racial and ethnic minorities tend to carry greater burdens as caregivers. And some caregivers who need additional support struggle to take that step, particularly within the Black community ([link removed]) .
Also, local government reporter Charlie Wolfson rounded up four ways that Trump could bring changes for Pittsburgh residents ([link removed]) , from deportations to abortion access, environmental policy to infrastructure funding.
