At a commencement address for historically black colleges and universities, Barack Obama issued what some might consider a fairly mild criticism of Trump’s pandemic response, all things considered -- with the former president saying, “More than anything, this pandemic has fully, finally torn back the curtain on the idea that so many of the folks in charge know what they’re doing.”
Obama didn’t address his comments toward Trump directly. But Trump took a swipe at Obama.
"Look, he was an incompetent president. That’s all I can say. Grossly incompetent,” The Hill reports Trump told reporters outside the White House. Trump admitted during the same interview that he hadn’t actually seen Obama’s remarks.
Presidents typically don’t speak ill of each other -- but then again, these are far from typical times. We want to know which side you fall on, especially now that Trump has made things personal. Tell us now:
