As Governor, I am proud to have passed critical school choice legislation that paved the way for parental rights across the nation. The Goldwater Institute was a key ally in this battle to empower parents and students. 

The legislation I signed into law establishes universal Education Savings Accounts (ESAs), which provide all families with the freedom to pursue excellence in education for their children, regardless of their socioeconomic status.  

Since then, the Goldwater Institute has helped pass ESAs and other school choice legislation in more than 20 states, and they're not slowing down.

The Goldwater Institute's school choice policies are vital for ensuring that children can receive an education free from indoctrination, such as the following:
 

In Boston, a teacher hung a poster in the classroom promoting anti-Americanism with slogans like, “The American Dream is a scam” and “America was built on genocide and slavery.”

In Arizona, the Attorney General is trying to block parents from using their Education Savings Account funds on common sense curriculum materials and school supplies.

In Maine, school staff secretly gave a chest binder to a 13-year-old girl and encouraged her to switch genders, much to the surprise of her parents. 

School choice is the #1 way to fight this indoctrination and give education back to parents.
