Most Americans are consumed by the devastation the California fires are creating, and for good reason. They’re effortlessly tearing through neighborhoods and destroying good people’s lives.
But there’s a deeper story unfolding in the crisis’s background. This disaster is exposing the brutal consequences of bad leadership.
So much could have been done to lessen this catastrophe's impact. Why wasn’t it?
Journalist Michael Shellenberger may be the best reporter in America, and he has the answers as to what’s made this calamity so unbelievably bad. Shellenberger joined tonight’s Tucker Carlson Show to reveal the shocking details. Click the image below to watch.
Michael Shellenberger tells Tucker:
“The governor should’ve called up the National Guard, he should’ve called all of [his] neighboring states, he should’ve called Canada and Mexico, asked for all their backup help. They should’ve started circling C-130s that are especially retrofitted [and] can dump the fire retardant or water. They should’ve had helicopters circling to see where the fires were. It should have been immediate mobilization.”
Inauguration Day is approaching.
