Friend, Right now, Alley Cat Allies is on the ground in the Los Angeles area providing emergency care and support to cats and kittens impacted by the Palisades fire, Eaton fire, and other ongoing fires. Our Rapid Response Team has been working around the clock with local advocates and veterinarians to save lives, including aiding in the rescue of 10 cats from a fire evacuation zone this weekend. We rushed three of those cats—Oliver, Klondike, and Toulouse—to emergency veterinary care and we are coordinating and funding comprehensive examination and treatment for even more cats and kittens, including six siblings rushed to safety from another fire-impacted area. The situation is evolving rapidly as the fires blaze on, and we are moving fluidly to help however we can. Will you make an emergency gift now to help us save cats’ lives?

Alongside veterinary care, we are providing supplies including cat food and bowls, microchip scanners, and oxygen masks for cats and dogs rescued from the burn areas. This disaster is far from contained, and we are planning to support affected cats until the flames are all quenched and through the long period of recovery ahead. This critical work is only possible with your generosity. Your gift ensures that we can respond immediately to disasters like this and protect cats when they need us most. Please give today to support our Rapid Response Team on the ground as we save cats’ lives.
