Hey Friend,

It’s Brian Kemp. Welcome to the first edition of The Weekly Minute!

As we enter a new year, I’m kicking off this weekly update to highlight key issues that matter to hardworking Americans like you — and to hear your feedback on how we can make a difference together.

This week, I want to focus on a critical driver of our economy: small businesses.

From family-run diners to local shops in towns big and small, small businesses are the backbone of communities across the country.

Here in Georgia, we’ve worked hard to support them by cutting taxes, reducing government red tape, and creating opportunities for growth.

But the challenges they face aren’t unique to Georgia — they’re a national issue. That’s why I want to hear from you:

A MESSAGE FROM BRIAN KEMP

More than 35 years ago, I started my first business with nothing but a pickup truck and a shovel.

Since taking office as Governor of Georgia in 2019, I’ve put hardworking Georgians and their families first!

We’ve championed legislation to cut taxes for working families, crack down on crime, end human trafficking, reform foster care and adoption, and support our students and educators.

When Georgia became the first state to reopen during the COVID-19 pandemic, I made sure we protected both lives and livelihoods. As a result, we’ve seen historic economic investment, and we’ve continued to lead the way in creating opportunities at every corner of the state.

And we’re not stopping there!

Marty, the girls, and I are working hard to ensure Georgia’s best days are ahead of us.

But, we can’t do it alone. Our accomplishments are only possible with a team of strong grassroots supporters like YOU by my side.

So, today I’m asking for your support in my continued fight to improve the way of life for hardworking families. Will you join me?

Thank you,

Brian Kemp
