Jaime is running for Senate because he's making it his mission to pass laws that prevent gun violence.

After losing his friend Rev. Clementa Pinckney and 8 others when a white supremacist attacked Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston in 2015, Jaime decided he would do everything within his ability to end gun violence.
