Dear John,

Representative Greg Steube (R-Fla.) has reintroduced his bill, The Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2025 (H.R. 28), and it's expected to receive a vote in the House tomorrow! This bill will require schools to follow the true intent of Title IX to ensure fairness and equality for female athletes.

We need this bill now more than ever! Women's sports are under attack in America. Males are being permitted, with increasing frequency, to rob female athletes of their privacy, safety, and opportunity.

Will you reach out to your U.S. representative and ask him or her to protect female athletes by voting for Rep. Steube's bill?

Title IX, enacted in 1972, was created, in part, to carve out a space for women in the athletic world. In 1972, only 300,000 women nationwide were involved in high school athletics. Today, estimates are that more than 3.2 million high school girls are involved in sports. At the collegiate level, there are almost 230,000 female athletes. These women have worked tirelessly to be competitive in their respective sports.

Sadly, gender ideology is destroying the space that Title IX created for women's sports. Examples are piling up of female athletes losing to males, missing out on titles and opportunities, and having their privacy and safety violated--athletes like Riley Gaines, Selina Soule, and Payton McNabb, just to name a few. One estimate found that nearly 900 female athletes worldwide have lost medals to male competitors.

No female athlete should have her efforts erased by a male. Congress must act to ensure that women's sports are protected.

Contact your U.S. representative now and urge him or her to vote for the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act to protect female athletes!

Sincerely,

Your Friends at FRC Action
