Dear John,
Deadlines are coming up fast for our pro-life student contests!
Do you know of any young people interested in lending their creative talents to building up a culture of life in Oregon?
The vision, skill, and passion that come through in the essays, drawings, speeches, and films submitted every year by young pro-life advocates are always incredible and inspiring.

Last year, Marion County brother and sister film-making duo Peter (13) and Vivienne (12) won the short film category for their touching three-minute video, “Here I Am.”
The video has since racked up thousands of views on the Oregon Right to Life YouTube channel, where you can watch it today:
“The unborn are people just like us,” Peter said [[link removed]] in an interview for our print publication, Life In Oregon. “It’s important to show that unborn people matter.”
Vivienne and Peter hope their video will inspire more young people to enter the Oregon Right to Life Education Foundation student contest.
“I think it’s a really good chance for everyone to learn about being pro-life,” Vivienne said.

Every year, our student contest has a theme to get participating students started.
Our 2025 theme is: “Love Both Heartbeats.”
Young people can send in an essay or drawing, submit a short film or short-form video, or give a speech.
Deadlines are approaching fast.
Essays and drawings are due January 17th. Film and video submissions are due February 3rd.
