I want to apologize in advance, because this is going to be one of those emails.

I know that the election happened just a few months ago. But the fact is, the groundwork we lay today will pay dividends down the road in this competitive district. After all, early investment from supporters like you was the key to success in 2024 — and it’s how we’ll win the big fights ahead of us too.

Look, following last year’s competitive election, our entire team is starting from square one. So with our first fundraising deadline of the year just a few days away, will you chip in a donation to help us reach our goal and kick off the new year on the right foot?

Listen, I know that receiving an email like this probably won’t brighten your day (especially on a Monday). But truth be told, we need to start preparing for the road ahead, because we’re going to face battles like we’ve never seen before:

Battles to defend our fundamental freedoms. Battles to safeguard Social Security. Battles to preserve LGBTQ equality. Battles protect the Affordable Care Act, and so much more.

I want you to know that I’m more committed than ever to making progress on the issues that matter most to Kansans — like securing resources for rural communities, creating good-paying jobs, lowering costs, and making life better for folks across the state. But I can’t win this fight alone.
