Happy 2025! For most people, a new year means a fresh start and setting meaningful goals. For Ohio Republicans? It’s just more of the same – screwing over working families while cozying up to special interests.

Here’s a sneak peek at their New Year’s Resolutions:

* Frank "Loser" LaRose: Continue forcing Ohioans to jump through hoops just to vote – and brainstorm even more barriers.

* Attorney General Dave Yost: Clear the 2026 gubernatorial field by sucking up to Trump and the most extreme Republicans, all while politicizing his office and pretending his utility company sweetheart deals didn’t cost Ohio families.

* Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted: Save his skin any way he can – caving to extremists, dodging his role in Ohio’s biggest corruption scandal, and angling for whatever job he can get next.

* Mike DeWine: Spend his final days in office clinging to a "folksy" image, while trying to hand a U.S. Senate seat to his buddy Husted.

There’s no presidential election this year, but for Ohio Democrats, the fight to hold Republicans accountable is 24/7.
