Women and girls in Syria are facing constant threats of violence and hunger. Recent shelling in Syria damaged a water station, decreasing the available water supply for people in Aleppo City.
As crisis after crisis unfolds in Syria, women and girls still live under the constant threat of violence, many face daily hunger, and women risk their lives every day to give birth and care for their families. UNFPA is servicing these communities with our mobile health clinics and UNFPA Winter Dignity Kits — but more support is urgently needed.
In Aleppo, over 1 million people have been displaced because of ongoing violence. These communities are facing water and fuel shortages, leading to only partially operational hospitals and health centers. Powered by your emergency gifts, UNFPA is providing lifesaving care and support to communities in Syria and beyond — but the funding for our work in Syria and beyond is in jeopardy under the Trump administration, so we are turning to donors like you.
