We have one week until Inauguration Day, but the work has already started in the Senate and I want to make sure you’re updated.
Here’s what I’m working on:
—> Laken Riley Act: Last week, the Senate moved forward on the Laken Riley Act.
Now, Democrats want to weaken it to allow some criminal illegal aliens to remain free from detention to prey on Americans. We’re not going to let them play this game.
—> Confirmation Hearings: As the new Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, my first job is confirmation hearings for President Trump’s intelligence community nominees.
I’m working to get this done as quickly as possible, because President Trump needs his team in place — especially when it comes to national security and intelligence.
—> Stamping Out China’s Influence: What if I told you that Communist China was operating secret police stations in America? It sounds insane, but it’s true.
Only American police have a right to operate within America’s border. I’ve introduced a bill to sanction and deport anyone working with these illegal CCP police stations.
