The Supreme Court in Montana just ruled that the effects of climate change infringe upon the constitutional rights of young people. This is an especially impressive development in a deep red, pro-fossil fuel state!
We’re clear-eyed about the fact that in the new administration, climate action will likely be stalled at the federal level. State-level wins like these provide a roadmap for how we can continue climate progress in a hostile environment, counteracting the Trump administration’s anti-environment policies.
