Well, folks, Mike Johnson managed to pull off a victory in a less embarrassing fashion than Kevin McCarthy.

But he’s still got a lot of work ahead of him — and you don’t have to take my word for it:

Republicans have been talking about the supposed “mandate” they’ve received to govern ever since Election Day.

Apparently, a mandate looks like the slimmest House Majority in over a hundred years.

But Republicans don’t believe in bipartisanship and think they run things on their own.

We all saw how well that turned out in the last Congress.

But this time around, as far as I’m concerned, Republicans can figure out this mess for themselves. My Democratic colleagues and I will be sitting on the sidelines and eating our popcorn watching the chaos unfold.

And when it comes time to vote them out of office, we’ll be ready to take the reins and fix the mess they’ve caused — but we need your help to get there.
