Friends —

We’re coming to grips with it ourselves, but in one week we will observe the peaceful transition of power. Donald Trump will begin his term as the 47th President of the United States.

We can’t predict the future, but we can tell you two things for sure:

Ruben is not going anywhere.
The only way we’re going to get through this is together.

Ruben is going to continue to fight for the little guy. For the mom and dad sitting at the kitchen table, worried they won’t be able to cover the rent. For the veteran who’s worried about their health care. For the kid trying to figure out how they’re going to find a career, or get into school.

He’s going to fight for those people because he is those people. Ruben knows how tough it is, and he knows that those people deserve a champion in the Senate.
