Yesterday, I sent a letter to Director-nominee Tom Homan of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) with an urgent request.

In my letter, I highlighted the significant concentration of illegal aliens in Lake County, Florida, which stands at over 21,000+ individuals in a county with a population of 435,000.

This makes Lake County one of the areas with the highest concentration of illegal immigrants in the state.

I've asked Director-nominee Homan to initiate deportations of these individuals immediately, emphasizing that this action is not only necessary but would be greatly appreciated by the citizens of Lake County.

As your Lake County Commissioner, I believe it's crucial that we take IMMEDIATE action to restore the rule of law.

I will keep you updated on any responses or actions taken by ICE regarding this matter.
