It was an honor to join my colleagues in counting the electoral votes and certifying the results of the 2024 presidential election, officially declaring Donald Trump the 47th President of the United States. In November, the American people issued a clear mandate to our leaders to get our nation back on track. The relentless witch hunt to silence President Trump and the will of the American people has failed. Trump’s sentencing proves this sham case was nothing more than a political attack to brand him a felon and block him from taking office. I look forward to welcoming President Donald Trump back into the White House on January 20th to serve the American people.
