Hi there, This is Sarah Grover, and I've got to tell you a few things about my State Representative Mary Edly-Allen. She is the hardest working public servant I know. She works long hours in her state office Monday through Saturday. She intends to save Sundays for self care, but more often than not I catch her working on Sundays, too. Mary isn't in it for the Facebook likes or the PR. She is driven to help the residents of the 51st District who are struggling, those who have less, and lately, those who have been hit the hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic. Mary's birthday was this week. She celebrated by returning to Springfield to serve in the General Assembly amidst so much uncertainty and anxiety throughout Illinois.
