[link removed] [[link removed]] Sharice Davids has gotten a heck of a lot done for Kansas throughout her time in Congress. She’s lowered insulin costs for seniors, created thousands of good-paying clean-energy jobs, and secured real investments in Kansas agriculture, just to name a few!
Listen, we know that Congress can be a dysfunctional place. Far too often, politicians are willing to prioritize political sideshows over the needs of the American people. But that dysfunction hasn’t stopped Sharice from securing real, bipartisan solutions — solutions that make a tangible difference in the lives of Kansas families.
In fact, in 2024, Sharice reached her highest-ever bipartisanship record, with 83% of the bills she supported having bipartisan backing — because she knows that endless partisan bickering doesn’t accomplish anything for working families.
Last year, Sharice also secured $15.8 million in federal investments to improve health and safety in the Third District. These resources will be used to purchase new vehicles for law enforcement, modernize roads and bridges, improve water access during extreme weather, and so much more.
Finally, Sharice helped return $3.5 million to constituents and local businesses across the district in overdue tax returns, Social Security benefits, veterans’ benefits, and more. Sharice is serious about helping her constituents navigate complicated federal programs, which is how she’s helped return over $21 million to Kansans since 2019.
Since her first day in Congress, Sharice has worked relentlessly to find common ground and secure results for Kansas families. And while her work may not always grab wall-to-wall cable news headlines, it truly makes a difference in the lives of Kansans — and that’s what really matters.
But here’s the truth: In the weeks and months ahead, Sharice will face a variety of challenges and attacks. Extremists are going to try every trick in the book to put a stop to her important work — and we need to show Sharice that this team will always stand behind her.
