The impact of the California wildfires on animals is devastating.

Friend,

As a World Animal Protection staffer living in Los Angeles, I am heartbroken by the devastation caused by the wildfires this week. The flames have ravaged both homes and habitats, and the pain felt by people and animals alike is overwhelming. While I and the other staffers who live here are safe at this time, my thoughts are with everyone impacted by this tragedy.

In response to this crisis, World Animal Protection US is here to help and has activated our Disaster Response Fund. We are supporting Pasadena Humane and Best Friends to provide direct relief and rescue to animals impacted by the fires. Can we count on your gift today? [[link removed]]

Your gift will not only help animals in immediate need but also support our ongoing advocacy for the role that factory farming plays in driving climate change. This industry is a major contributor to extreme weather events like the wildfires we’re witnessing here in California. We are committed to advocating for wildlife, protecting their habitats, and addressing the long-term impacts of factory farming on our planet.

Friend, I have personally witnessed the devastating impacts these fires have had on my community, but I’ve also seen the incredible resilience and strength of my neighbors, friends, and even strangers as we all come together to support one another during this difficult time. By helping local organizations that care for displaced animals, rehabilitate injured ones, and provide essential supplies to families who need them, you can help my city and those impacted recover.

Thank you for your support [[link removed]] . Your generosity will make a lasting difference.

In Gratitude,

P.S. Animal shelters in the Los Angeles area are extremely full. If you are in the area (or know someone who is), please consider adopting or fostering a pet to help make room for animals that will need shelter due to the wildfires. Read our blog for more info. [[link removed]]
