TELL THE USPS BOARD OF GOVERNORS: The green USPS fleet means safer workplaces for postal workers, better jobs for American communities, and leadership in clean energy innovation. Sign the petition: Don’t cave to Trump — protect USPS green fleet investments in the fight against climate change!

Hi,

The US Postal Service’s (USPS) electric vehicle (EV) plan — already signed, with vehicles currently in production — is a key step forward in building an environmentally sustainable future.

But Trump has already signaled that he wants to derail the USPS’s progress, threatening manufacturing jobs, postal workers’ safety, our communities and our planet.1

We can’t allow the Trump White House to redirect funding back to fossil fuels.

Sign the petition: Protect the USPS’s green fleet! We must ensure the nation stays on track to combat climate change.

Modernizing the USPS fleet means safer workplaces for postal workers, better jobs for American communities, and leadership in clean energy innovation. USPS’s goal of electrifying 62% of its vehicles by 2028 will deliver significant benefits.

Trump canceling these contracts would set us back decades: poisoning our air, locking in gas-guzzling pollution, threatening jobs, and derailing meaningful progress on climate change.

The USPS is an independent federal agency with the authority to make its own operational decisions, including these contracts. Allowing political pressure to derail this progress in any way undermines that independence and sets a dangerous precedent for future administrations.

Sign the petition: The USPS Board of Governors can’t cave to Trump. Protect USPS green fleet investments in the fight against climate change.

Thanks for taking action,

Joey and the team at Demand Progress
