Hi John, it's Alison Hirsh (Brad Lander’s campaign manager). In a couple hours I’m meeting with Brad to discuss tonight’s CFB fundraising deadline. Small dollar donations have been coming in, but right now we’re still a bit short of where we need to be. Fundraising slowed down significantly around the holidays. We need to close the gap. Posting strong fundraising numbers is hugely important for this campaign. We know Mayor Adams and Andrew Cuomo are watching our filings closely. And unlike some of our opponents, Brad’s not sitting on millions of dollars to pump into the race. I’d LOVE to show them — and everyone else — that Brad’s campaign has powerful grassroots support.
