Last Friday, Republican Mike Johnson was elected Speaker of the House. Mike Johnson:

❌ Wants to strip women of reproductive rights and freedom
❌ Voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act in 2017
❌ Supported Trump’s xenophobic and racist Muslim Ban
❌ Opposes LGBTQ rights and opposes same-sex marriage

Mike Johnson is an extreme Republican who wants to roll back the clock on progress in our country. With Trump returning to the White House in just 10 days, we need the resources to organize to fight back against this oppressive new Republican regime in the House, Senate, and Oval Office.

We can’t resign to cynicism. We know that these next few years will be difficult but we must recommit ourselves to the fight for a brighter Texas and country for all.
