Dear John, This is a little later than I promised but here is the election update! Pro-life candidates won more than 91% of the races we issued endorsements or recommendations in. In the Second Congressional District, we followed through on our promise to defeat Knute Buehler, a well-funded and outspoken pro-abortion candidate. In the end we spent $207,000 on our No on Knute campaign. Our volunteer PAC board had to make an endorsement decision in this race more than a month out from election day, choosing between 3 great pro-life candidates. Our choice was never about the defeat of the other pro-lifers, but part of doing our best to assure that Buehler did not win. It was a hard fought campaign, with no clear winner right until the last moment. Ultimately, Cliff Bentz won. He will be an excellent pro-life representative in D.C. We look forward to working with him! We also have a job opening at ORTL right now if you or anyone you know are interested. Our accounting manager recently had a baby. This is a part-time, hourly position, in our Keizer office. Here is a link to our Indeed posting! Please share it. Have a great rest of your weekend!
