As America eagerly anticipates the presidential inauguration on January 20, 2025, I can't help but feel a mix of excitement and reflection.
Kristi and I will be in Washington, D.C., to witness the swearing-in of our next president and vice president. Yet, as I look back on this journey, I’m struck by the immense effort that brought us here—the tireless nights of strategizing until 1 AM, then rising before dawn to meet crucial deadlines, and countless miles of driving and bus tours across the great state of Kansas. Each moment has shaped our path.
Serving as the Kansas GOP Chairman for nearly two years has been a marathon with a singular focus—securing the presidency to help save America.
While other races, down-ballot and local, are undoubtedly important, my commitment has always been clear: by galvanizing support and funding local initiatives, we could guide Americans back to the Republican Party. And I have been proven right.
I’ve had the privilege of witnessing incredible Kansans like Kristi Brown, Maria Holiday, Paula Carr and Denise Vocasek, along with thousands of others, pour their hearts into driving conservative Republican change within their communities.
And I have seen my executive team bond together like a family, providing the encouragement and support necessary to get the job done.
Yes, there were moments when well-meaning individuals missed the mark, and detractors tried to undermine our efforts, but none of that deterred me. In fact, it fueled my resolve.
Watching Donald Trump stand unwavering in the face of relentless opposition became my inspiration. He bore the brunt of criticism, threats, and attempts to assasinate and incarcerate him yet faced it all with courage and resilience. I drew strength from his example as I led the KSGOP, and it ultimately helped us achieve what we set out to do in early 2023.
Now, as I prepare to witness my friend, Donald J. Trump, taking the oath of office as the 47th President of the United States, I know I will be asking myself, “How did I get HERE?” The answer is simple: with your support and a relentless spirit of hard work that, apart from Kristi, few truly witnessed.
If you’ve learned one thing about me, it’s this: I don’t quit. I don’t cave. I keep my head down and push forward. Sound familiar? Yes, #47.
America is Saved. Hallelujah!
