Last night was a huge moment for our phenomenal student leaders.
After months of registering students across the country, we came together to celebrate with MTV for a virtual prom. We kicked off the evening with a message from Michelle Obama, reminding us of the power of our collective voices. We got a shoutout from Tory Lanez, a makeup tutorial from Bebe Rexha, a live DJ set from DJ Pauly D, and performances from Chloe x Halle and SUPERDUPERKYLE.
The guests of honor were our student winners of the Prom Challenge, who successfully registered their school communities to vote in creative and impactful ways. These students have accomplished nearly 100% voter registration rates at their schools across the country, but also know there is more work to be done before November.
That’s why we wanted to invite you to join our National Student Ambassador Program, a leadership opportunity for high school students who are dedicated to serving their school communities through civic engagement. And the best part...the most engaged and effective student leaders will become paid student leaders this summer!

Student Ambassadors will have the opportunity to learn key skills and use their voice to make a generational impact in their school communities -- all while ensuring other students are registered and ready to vote. We want you to join our program if you are a leader in your community, you care about the future of your country, and of course want to register voters!
As a Student Ambassador, you will:
- Become experts in civic engagement and digital organizing
- Learn how to lead My School Votes teams in your school and district
- Build community with civically-engaged Student Ambassadors from around the country
- Change the culture around voting at your school
