I hope you are safe, healthy, and well.

Since the COVID-19 crisis began, I've been leading efforts in Congress to fight for you and your family.

Just the other week, House Democrats passed the bipartisan Heroes Act to help workers keep their jobs, businesses stay in business, and families not only survive this crisis and avoid poverty, but have the opportunity to thrive again.

My employee retention plan in the Heroes Act is estimated to save 60 million American jobs by helping 6.1 million businesses keep their employees on the payroll with benefits.

And the Heroes Act also includes my plan to increase the child tax credit to $3,000 per child ($3,600 for children under 6), providing direct assistance to families that are struggling.

Now it is on all of us to make sure Mitch McConnell moves this legislation through the Senate.

As tech companies and public health agencies join the fight against COVID-19 with contact tracing apps, I am working on regulations to protect your privacy.

In the district, I have stood with workers in the fight to save good jobs at the Ferndale aluminum plant and fought for housing for the homeless in Washington.

I appreciate the work we are doing together to help our neighbors and friends during this crisis. Please take a moment to learn about these issues by reading the articles I've included at the bottom of this email.

Thank you,

Suzan DelBene
