“My biggest pride is building the CPC into a real force that was able to accomplish things for real people. I feel very good about having done that.
There would have been no Inflation Reduction Act without Build Back Better, and there would have been no Build Back Better without the CPC.”

Will you pitch in $3 to help Pramila continue fighting for a bold, populist, working class agenda in Congress?
Pramila is right — we scored some major wins in the Inflation Reduction Act that would not have happened without progressives fighting for them:
- We made the single largest investment in fighting climate change in US history
- We capped insulin costs for Medicare patients and allowed Medicare to negotiate drug prices
- We taxed big corporations and invested in the IRS to go after corporate tax evaders
All of these are wins worth celebrating. But we know it’s not enough — there is still so much more to do to lift up working families across the country, and that’s why it’s critical that we keep working to build progressive power in Congress.
Despite taking a step back as Chair, Pramila is still firmly committed to this work. But since she doesn’t take corporate PAC donations, she’s counting on this people-powered movement to help her keep fighting.
