Dear friend,

This first full week in DC has been productive and packed! Republicans already have started work on the agenda given to them for the 119th Congress. We passed TWO bills, H.R. 29 Laken Riley Act to make our streets safer, and H.R. 23 Illegitiamate Court Counteraction Act to regain deterrence and respect in the world.

I was reappointed as the Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee’s Subcommittee on Cyber, Information Technologies, and Innovation. We need to improve our cyber capabilities, as China is attacking our systems almost daily. We also must improve our ability to procure commercial technologies faster.

This week, we also certified the Electoral College Vote with 312 votes for President Trump and 226 votes for Vice President Harris. A total of 270 is required to win. Congratulations to President Trump.
