Hi there —
The state legislature is officially back in session and our new lawmakers have been sworn in. Anti-environment Republicans are once again in control of the state Senate, while pro-environment Democrats retained a razor-thin majority in the state House. This means every single vote will matter in the fight for our environment.

Unfortunately, Big Oil and Gas are already working overtime in Harrisburg to protect their profits. They’re pushing for more giveaways and even bigger loopholes that would let them keep polluting — and lying about it.

But you and I know the truth:
* There’s nothing political about wanting clean air and water.
* There’s nothing political about helping families keep their power on.
* There’s nothing political about leaving a safer, healthier future for our kids and grandkids.

It’s up to us to keep the pressure on legislators to pass pro-environment priorities and block dangerous, pro-polluter handouts. Friend, will you pitch in $5.00 today to help us secure stronger protections for Pennsylvania's environment in 2025? [[link removed]]

The numbers may be close in the legislature, but here’s why I’m hopeful: we’ve proven that we can win — even in a divided legislature.

Last year, we celebrated our biggest legislative victories ever , and we’re building on that momentum in 2025 with a bold, three-part plan:
* Stand Up to Big Polluters : Counter the influence of dirty energy lobbyists in Harrisburg by strengthening relationships with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle and organize public action to block harmful legislation.
* Build Power Locally : Mobilize our network of volunteers across the Commonwealth to contact their lawmakers, activate their communities, and coordinate with partners to ensure no Pennsylvanian is left behind.
* Fight Misinformation : Leverage the power of the press and social media to expose polluters’ lies and keep the pressure on the legislature.

Your support fuels everything we do — from exposing polluters and holding lawmakers accountable to empowering volunteers and blocking dangerous anti-environment policies. And I’m optimistic that, together, we can advance renewable energy solutions, lower utility bills for our families, and secure cleaner air and water protections for all.

But we can’t do it without you, friend. Will you make your gift today? Every contribution gets us one step closer to a better future for all Pennsylvanians.
So please do your part by pitching in $5.00 or more so we can go toe-to-toe with polluters, strengthen the pro-environment voice in Harrisburg, and fight for bipartisan victories that will protect every Pennsylvanian now and for generations to come. [[link removed]]

Thanks for all that you do,
