HB 140, written by Louisiana State House Representative Blake Miguez, would allow guns at playgrounds, recreation centers, after-school programs, and Boys & Girls Clubs statewide.
 

This legislative session was supposed to be about passing the budget and ensuring financial assistance and relief for Louisiana during this unprecedented pandemic. Instead, the Republican leadership is more concerned with pushing through their outrageous agenda, which includes loosening gun safety laws even further — to the point of possibly endangering our kids.
