Friends, when I was first elected as Chair of the Iowa Democratic Party, I had little to work with. We had no Finance, Communications, or Data staff, and we were in debt.

I’m proud to say we’ve come a long way. I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside an incredible team to build IDP from the ground up, and now we’re in a position of growth and prosperity.

In 2023, I outlined a plan for IDP that I called Mandate for Change, and today I want to share with you the sequel: Forward: Victory 2026.

While Forward: Victory 2026 has many principles I could dive deep into, our main priority is to turn the Iowa Democratic Party’s progress and stability over the past two years into electoral results by electing Democrats up and down the ballot across Iowa.

How exactly? By organizing, fundraising, and communicating. Meeting Iowans across the state where they are, raising resources to fight against the GOP, and being transparent every step of the way is the key to winning next year.

So I’ll be honest: It’s going to take a lot of teamwork to make our vision for Forward: Victory 2026 come true. But you had our back last cycle, and now I’m asking for you to join us again so we can celebrate our wins around the state on Election Night 2026.
