Thanks to your generous support, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention will continue to impact communities across the country with our mission of saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide.
Because of you, we will expand the reach of our education programs that help people recognize and respond to the warning signs of suicide in those who need help. We will fund even more of the world’s top suicide researchers who are developing innovative ways to save more lives and support those who have experienced loss. We will mobilize more Volunteer Advocates to fight for smarter mental health and suicide prevention policies. We will continue to ensure that survivors of suicide loss and those who are struggling know they are not alone. And we will help to create a culture that’s smart about mental health and suicide prevention.
Long-time AFSP volunteer and national board member Lisa Riley said it best: “It is the community of people engaged in this mission that AFSP brings together that has kept me involved all these years, knowing we are collectively making an enormous difference.”
Our important work would not be possible without donors like you. Thank you for partnering with us to create a world without suicide!
There's still the opportunity to make your gift to AFSP to start off the year.
