john — Donald Trump has more than proven himself to be an opponent of reproductive freedoms and women’s rights.

That’s why I’m taking action — calling on the Senate to take up and vote on my bill, the Stop Comstock Act. Add your name to join me in demanding a vote on this legislation.

As I told Vanity Fair last month, Democrats are supporting this bill “in order to draw attention to this old zombie law that we knew had the potential, in a Trump administration, of being the tool that they would use to deny people’s access to abortion care, even without any action from Congress.”

That’s the unfortunate reality, john: With the stroke of a pen, Trump can use provisions from the Comstock Act, a law from the 1800s, to ban abortion pills and restrict abortion access.

While Trump might say that he won’t act on medication abortion, I’m focused on what he does. If we’ve learned anything about Trump, it’s that his actions speak much louder than his ridiculous, meandering words.

john, if we can stop the Comstock Act, we can make sure women across the country can access medication abortion. As the only senator to have worked at Planned Parenthood, reproductive healthcare access is incredibly important to me.
