As the new year is well underway, I want to once again send my best wishes for a wonderful 2025! I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and warm as Georgia experiences this winter weather event throughout the weekend. Please heed caution if you must be on the roads and pay close attention to the recommendations and guidance from local public safety officials.

Last Friday, the 119th Congress convened for its first legislative day. It is an extraordinary privilege and an honor to continue representing Georgia. In all that I do on behalf of our community, I carry the legacy of my son Jordan and the support of my loved ones.

This week in Washington, we also took time to honor President Jimmy Carter with a memorial at the Capitol and his funeral at the National Cathedral. I pray that Georgia and this entire nation holds his memory in our hearts, and that we carry his inspiring vision into this new year and beyond.
