Hi John,

The real fight to balance the federal budget is just starting NOW.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is on his way out the door. But you can’t just count on Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre to swoop in and fix the mess.

“There are so many vested interests that will be trying to hold us back,” said Poilievre in an interview. “I’m going to have to put out a call to Canadians that they have to stay politically active. They can’t assume that simply by changing, by voting in an election, that all the problems are going to reverse instantaneously.”

This is going to be huge fight. Corporate welfare lobbyists, big union bosses and special interest groups are going to hold onto every tax dollar they can and fight every cut with everything they’ve got.

Here’s the question: Are you going to sit back and watch OR are you going to keep fighting back?

If the next government is going to balance the budget, it’s going to need an army of taxpayers fighting for change.

Canada desperately needs a balanced budget. And to get this thing done, Canada also needs a standing army ready to help fight the entrenched interests in Ottawa.

Over the past decade, Trudeau has doubled the national debt. You now spend more on federal debt interest charges than health care. Debt interest payments cost more than every penny the government brings in through the GST.

Trudeau found out budgets don’t balance themselves.

But the budget won’t balance itself just because he’s out.

The budget will only be balanced if taxpayers like you make it happen. And that’s why you need to sign the balanced budget petition and join the army.

Will you sign the PETITION to balance the federal budget?

We, the undersigned, call on the federal government to stop racking up debt.

Note: If the automatic link doesn’t work on your device, you can also sign the petition at this link: https://www.taxpayer.com/petitions/stop-racking-up-debt

Thank you for standing up for taxpayers – it’s making a difference!
