Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area — the families, first responders, and entire communities facing unimaginable loss. These fires, which have destroyed homes, businesses, and lives, are a glaring reminder of why we must act now on climate.  

Record heat and extreme drought are some of the effects of the climate crisis — driven by fossil fuels — that can supercharge devastating fires, especially when fanned by strong Santa Ana winds. 

We need bold, collective global action to address the worsening climate crisis. It’s time to act before it’s really too late.
