The New York Times is presenting a "good news, bad news" view of Biden's victory chances. The good news? Biden leads Trump nationally by 5 points.

The bad news? Biden is behind by 7 points among voters in key swing states.

It appears that Trump is ahead of Biden in a crucial metric: voter enthusiasm. It's down among Democrats, with 33% of liberal voters saying they were "less enthusiastic" to vote in the 2020 election compared to a typical election year.

Republicans don't have that problem: 80% are "quite enthusiastic," according to a CNN poll.

It looks like Democrats are less committed to getting rid of Trump than Republicans are to keeping him. If that trend continues, both parties will get their wish. We want to know what you think:
