Val Demings is a Democratic Florida Congresswoman, ex-chief of police, and former House Impeachment manager during the trial of Donald Trump.
And according to presumptive nominee Joe Biden, Demings is a “very competent, very capable person,” and she’s on his list for possible VP picks.
Demings has said she’s “honored” to be considered -- but she could be a target for Trump, who’s proven he has a vendetta against those involved with his impeachment trial. The president has also shown he has it out for women of color -- calling black women reporters and staffers “nasty” and “disgusting,” and previously telling four Congresswomen of color to “go back” to where they came from -- nevermind that they were born in America.
