John,

“Well, I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for
me or Trump, then you ain’t black.” - 2020 Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe
Biden

I couldn’t believe it when I saw that Vice President Biden had uttered these
hurtful, pathetic, and ignorant words.

I had to speak out and let the former Vice President know that his comments
were out-of-touch, condescending, and insulting.

Disagreeing on policy is one thing — but challenging me and millions of black
voters on our blackness is completely unacceptable.

Opposing radical left-wing policies doesn’t mean you aren’t legitimately black.

It’s embarrassing that the Democrats nominated someone who would say something
so hurtful and condescending. They talk a big game about having the best
interests of black voters at heart, but they have failed time and time again to
deliver for black communities across America.

We can’t afford more out-of-touch leadership like this in Washington.

Toxic, identity-driven politics has no place in our country and I’ll be sure
to ask my opponent whether he agrees with Vice President Biden when I see him
on the debate stage.
