Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve seen incredible stories of resilience, sacrifice, and volunteerism from every single part of our state.

 

We’ve made it our mission to share them with you weekly through the hashtag #INThisTogether. But this week, we’re doing it a little bit differently.

 

Memorial Day is this weekend and Hoosiers all over our state are honoring our fallen heroes and those who have chosen to serve in the United States Armed Forces.

 

Our men and women in uniform make the kind of sacrifices we have been seeing from civilians during the COVID-19 pandemic every single day.

 

Sacrifice, heroism, and bravery are just part of their everyday routine.

 

In honor of Memorial Day, we want to show our heroes that we’re always #INThisTogether, not just during a pandemic. Many veterans are struggling right now in the face of COVID-19 and we want to take some time this holiday weekend to show them we have their backs, no matter what.
