While campaigns are all about expecting the unexpected, I never thought I would be spending two months in my home unable to meet voters and my staff in person. Yet as I sit here with my family, I haven’t forgotten why I’m doing this: because the North Country is my home and we deserve better.

Fighting to expand access to healthcare and improve livelihoods here has been my life’s work, and has given my life meaning over the past 30 years. I could no longer sit on the sidelines while our representative tried to make health care unaffordable and inaccessible.

This community deserves people who will fight for them, and I’ve always felt that if I do my part, others will join.

Thanks to the massive outpouring of support you continue to show us, we are accomplishing great things. People across the country are paying attention to what we’re building here. You’re the reason this race is a toss-up, and I know that together we can flip this seat.

Today, I’m asking you to step up again and help us hit our May goal. This is a crucial month for the campaign, and we need to show everyone we have the resources to win. Next week’s deadline is so important that all contributions will be tripled for the rest of the month.
