From coast to coast, people are fighting back
Planned Parenthood Action Fund
If Donald Trump and Mike Pence think we're going to sit back as they bully health care providers, block access to birth control, and make it impossible for patients to go to Planned Parenthood health centers, they've got another thing coming.

Trump and Pence have spent YEARS attacking Planned Parenthood, and now they're putting access to birth control and reproductive health care at risk for patients. By forcing an unethical gag rule onto Title X — the nation's only program for affordable birth control, cancer screenings, and STI tests — they think they can cut Planned Parenthood (and other health providers) out of the program. Even though we've served millions of people through Title X — with proven success, for 50 years.

Thanks to your actions, in June the House of Representatives passed a bill that would protect the Title X program and defend reproductive health care access. Now we need to make sure the Senate does the same — and with your senators home for August recess, now is the perfect opportunity to ramp up the pressure so that they ensure millions of people can continue to access health care and tell us about their plan to #ProtectX.

We're launching a Week of Action starting TODAY to do just that. Here's how you can help:

1 JOIN AN EVENT:
Planned Parenthood Action Fund supporters are planning events all over the country for the Week of Action. Head over to act.plannedparenthoodaction.org, enter your location, and find an event in your community. Pro tip: These events are always more fun with friends, so invite some folks to join you!
2 KNOW WHERE YOUR LEGISLATORS STAND:
Find out whether your legislators are doing everything they can to protect access to birth control and other reproductive health care. Doing some quick research will help us hit the ground running when legislators are back in DC, so we know which members are already with us — and which need a nudge.
3 SPREAD THE WORD:
Share this on Facebook and on Twitter. We will only win this fight if senators realize just how many people support undoing this dangerous gag rule. So get talking on social media, and ask your friends and family to do the same.

Health care is under attack — for young people, for people of color, for LGBTQ people, for people with low incomes, for people in your community, for your neighbors, for people like you. Together, we're strong enough to fight back, strong enough to win. But we all need to stick together, raise our voices, and do it again and again until our message is impossible to ignore.

Are you with us? Go to act.plannedparenthoodaction.org to do your part.

Sincerely,
Kelley Robinson, Executive Director
