Right now, at least five wildfires are tearing through L.A. County, forcing tens of thousands to flee their homes. Over 30,000 acres have burned. Families have lost everything. Shelters are packed with terrified, displaced pets, and resources are running out fast.

I can’t stop thinking about the pets left behind in the chaos—the ones separated from their families, waiting in overcrowded shelters with nowhere to go. They don’t understand why their world has been turned upside down. They just know they’re scared, hungry, and alone.
